We visited over Christmas 2016. The food was delicious and the quality was amazing. The service was top notch. The staff were open to accommodating changes for one of our party with an allergy. The atmosphere is very cozy and we will definitely be back

Visited with friends for dinner on a Friday evening. We all dined from the set menu and there was a good choice, 5 starters, 6 mains and 4 desserts. I had rib eye steak and it was excellent. The presentation of all the dishes was very good and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice selection of art for sale... More

I visited The Blue Door for a business dinner whilst in Adare. Service was friendly and efficient, quality of food is very good, we had salmon & sirloin steak, both cooked perfectly, with generous sides. There was a decent wine selection, the Chablis was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area, and suggest that... More

While staying in Adare, my wife and I chose one night to visit the Blue Door. Alas, they were full and wouldn't have a table for one hour. As we ambled down the street wondering where to go next, the maître d' came running up behind us and said, " I have a table now. A couple has just left!... More

Don't pass the Blue Door! The food is delicious , particularly the King scallops. It comes with the nicest sauce I have ever tasted. There is a genius in the kitchen, supported by a most professional front of house staff.

We had such a wonderful meal here we came back again the next night. Just the right amount of food ... the ribeye steak is excellent! Loved the prawns and the tomato mozzarella tart. The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere in this cozy thatched roof cottage is almost being like in someone's home. Lots of attention to detail... More

Had a Lovely meal in the Blue Door this evening. You have to try the Prawn Starter. Also had the Steak well done and it melted in my mouth. It is Small with tables close to each other, but don't let this put you off. Staff very attentive.

Amazing staff that were very welcoming and friendly on arrival. We (my mother and I) had a tiring journey down from Galway and love to stop in Adare as a half way stop and decided to visit this gem of a place. They serve 5 Star food with 5 star service. Will definitely visit this place again. (Keep up the... More
