Food lovely in this querky adapted cottage, our table was in the front bedroom! Quite expensive, but most eateries in this area are very expensive.

After enjoying much pub food, we decided to have a quieter dinner on our last night in Adare. The food was excellent. Not one person in our party of 10 had a complaint. I had the salmon. It was flaky, soft and seasoned perfectly. Blur Door is small, quiet and quaint. The staff was helpful and "very proper"!! Really lovely... More

Very nice meal in one of Adare's thatched roofed cottages. My husband and I both ordered the three course special and we had enjoyed everything. I liked the St Tola goat cheese packets but the tomato mozzarella tart was my favorite of the appetizers. My cod in a Chardonnay sauce was light and flakey (although I'm not sure I was... More

This small Restaurant was a great choice for a nice meal. The food was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The baked pasta dish was also excellent. Prices were great for the quality and portions. This is a can't miss if you can get a table. It was not busy this time of year.

After a long drive from Dublin, we stopped in for a quick meal but discovered an absolute gem! Small, rustic place with extremely cute waiter. Food looked and tasted great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We will be back when in the area!

Broke a long journey with a first time visit recently. No problem with getting a table for two on a wet winter night. Decent crowd dining and good atmosphere. Had 2 starters each rather than main course. Excellent quality food quickly delivered and good portions. Very enjoyable. To be pickey: the place was a bit cold. I couldn't figure out... More

We viewed the menu outside this restaurant and liked some of their specials. It was early and they were still serving from the lunch menu, but when we explained we came in because of the dinner specials listed outside, they accommodated us with the dinner menu. We had a brief wait while the kitchen was changing to the dinner menu,... More

Doesn't look much from the outside, but a lovely surprise when you step inside, with gorgeous interior. Lunch was great (soup and sandwiches) and really reasonable. Great place to stop off for lunch!

This was a quaint and romantic restaurant in the heart of Adare village. We basically stopped in while passing by our first night, and even though we didn't have reservations they gladly made room for us. After eating and enjoying the atmosphere we were very lucky and happy we found this place. The food presentation and our meals were exquisite. A... More
