Prices were very reasonable and I heard nice things about that place so I decide to try myself on the way to airport. Unfortunately I was disappointed because burger meat was really dry and it was not much taste in it at all, fries were fresh so plus for that but main weak. Was it worth to go here especially... Staff were friendly and the food was good and reasonably priced. An enjoyable diversion when we stayed 100m down the road in the Oakwood hotel. The chocolate fondant I had for dessert wasn't my cup of tea but I enjoyed the other courses. The fondant was recommended by our server and he really did seem to like it.

Came to Zest because we didn't want to travel far from the country inn where we were staying. Turns out this was a fine place to go for a hot, very good meal of either fish and chips or grilled cod. It's located in a mall but we wanted something casual and easy after 5 days of travel.

This is a nice little place, friendly staff and good food. The table settings are better suited to 3 or 4 diners, we had to line up a lot of the little tables to get us all in. Accommodating and attentive staff helped make it a greal meal.

We visited Zest on Saturday.. 8 people for lunch... at a peak time for lunch on a Saturday, there were 2 other people in the whole restaurant and on reflection, I can see why. 1. Service Awful... the girl serving us just didn't want to be there.... it was a family lunch in the middle of the day and once... More

I went here a couple of years ago and visit periodically... I think their food used to be a lot better and it's starting to go down hill a little. The food is just average. They do a really good Fisherman's stew with homemade brown bread. The mushroom risotto is also pretty good. Whenever I go there I usually do... More

Something has changed here. The menu is now a cheap looking plastic, er, thing (always a bad sign), and the selection seems to have narrowed. There always used to be something interesting available but not this time. Did I say I really didn't like the plastic thing.

I went for dinner recently with a friend and we both had an awful dining experience, I had the curry which was tasteless and my companion had the burger which was bland...the service was the only saving grace. Over priced for the food that was served

Thank percron

Zest Bistro was established in May of 2010 and is part of Shannon Knights Bars which was established in 1972. Our idea behind Zest was to offer customers a relaxed casual dining experience in a visually rich environment with fantastic affordable food and excellent customer service. Head chef Clifford Ryan has but together a deliciously tempting menu to suit all tastes. Zest also offers an all-weather outdoor dining area. Zest is open daily from 10am-9pm.
