A lovely roaring fire in the hearth makes this a very inviting pub. They do food also, which I haven't tried myself but have heard is good. Nice spot after a walk on Rossbeigh beach.

After a stroll on Rosbeigh beach we stopped here to have some lunch. Extensive specials menu but we opted for their recommended Fish and Chips. Just perfect!! Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff

Stayted here with a group of friends. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and were very obliging (even saying breakfast was at whatever time we got up - not till 10am etc!!) Rooms are nicely decorated in an olde world setting in a the beautiful village of Glenbeigh. I would highly recommend a stay here!!

We were very grateful to find the pub open around 230 on a Sunday as many nearby places were closed. We ordered the roast beef lunch special and the fish and chips. The roast beef, gravy and Yorkshire pudding were delicious. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were not as good. They lacked salt, butter or any seasoning. The fish and... More

You can be assured of a great feed here after a day at the beach or on the hills. The pub offers the perfect tonic. Sit or lounge in confortsble and cosy surroundings.

We had 2 fantastic nights at this pub over New Years. Great food. Traditional Music. And welcoming staff. Wonderful Kerry characters all around us. Like stepping back in time. Don't ever change.

We were staying next door at the excellent caravan site. The food and drink in the hotel were typical pub grub . There were standards on the menu and specials every night. It was really busy hence service was sometimes slow. In our opinion the food was good pub grub standard and it was priced accordingly. They probably could have... More

We tried to eat a snack in the afternoon. The selection was your typical Irish menu, just some sandwiches and an apple pie. The restaurant inside and the garden outside were deserted except for some regular guests and a firm which was setting up chairs in a tent for an upcoming wedding. We wanted to sit outside in the garden... More

dear Else0906, As you can see i don't usually respond negative reviews. I take the critism and try to ensure that bad experiences do not happen again. However in this case I feel the review is very misleading to other potential customers. I was one of the staff you refer to as '' setting up a tent ''. You choose... More

We stopped in for fish and chips and I had the curry. Chicken was tough and cold in the center...we clearly precooked then reheated and added to the curry sauce. Nann bread was stale. My husband's fries were under cooked and not fresh cut. Bathrooms had broken lights and tiles, also smelt musty. The rest of the decor is very... More
