not much to write home about -this used to bean excellent restaurant but it seems riot have changed hands or something. the food is standard and rather dull. Although the room itself is spacious nd the view stunning, it is not a place to linger

My and my partner spend alot of time making our own breakfast, so it was very exciting to order something that came out exactly like i had imagined it to be. Mexican eggs it was called i think. It was simply yummy! Dinner & lunch are also very good here. The superfood salad is a real treat!

We have, on many occasions, enjoyed absolutely scrumptious soups, salads, toasties and fish cakes- not to mention great coffee!!! A really lovely spot to stop and enjoy yummy food in a relaxed, friendly environment. Keep up the great work!

We stopped in for a meal mid afternoon after running errands all day. My son had spaghetti with tomato sauce which he enjoyed. My husband had fish cakes with rustic potatoes and salad. I had fish and mash with ratatouille. Yummy. Karine was a very gracious hostess. Definitely recommended and will visit again

I had one of the most delicious lunches I have ever had yesterday at The Riverside. It was very obvious that it had been prepared with a great deal of thought and expertise. Layers of fresh flavours and high quality ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive. We sat overlooking the river on comfortable chairs. Can't wait to return Patricia Coogan... More

My Friend and I had lunch in the Riverside Cafe on a recent visit to skibbereen. It was quite busy but we soon got a table. The staff were nice and helpful. The menu was varied but well priced. There were lovely views of the river. We had soup and sandwiches and they were delicious.

Thank Caroline D
