I have been there for lunch with my girlfriend as I was nearby. Place is small and cozy. But when I arrived the waitress told to sit on a table that was dirty, so I had to ask to clean it. Of course, she apologized but still, how come that you do not clean the table when people leave?! Food... More

While stopping in Cashel (for the Rock), we popped into the Ladyswell Restaurant for their wonderful homemade desserts. We had lemon meringue pie and blueberry cheesecake which were both superb. Generous portions, helpful staff, and reasonable prices. We wish we had time for lunch (it all looked and sounded delicious) but we were on a tight schedule so at least... More

We were lucky to arrive as a table was vacated as this was the only one available. There is a reason for it's popularity - it serves extremely good food at a competitive price. Both are meals were served in good time by very friendly staff.

Small pleasant restaurant with very good food including desserts. Had salmon with cream (dill?) sauce ,mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables that was delicious. My dessert and cappuccino in the morning was also quite good.

Go here with my friend every Thursday for breakfast and catch up. Margaret the owner is very friendly, all lovely staff. Food is excellent and home made desserts. Would highly recommend a stop off here in Cashel.

Inside this is a wonderful place. There is a great choice from freshly made sandwiches to wonderful homemade dishes quiches, wraps, salads, pies all with choices of side dishes. Baked potatoes, chips or salad and enormous helpings. Or you could just have a coffee and cake. We four girls stopped here in our way to Cork and we're impressed not... More

Small bustling restaurant within walking distance of the Rock of Cashel. Staff are friendly, quick and efficient. Menu options are appropriate for lunch but know that the portions are substantial, actually huge! I had the hearty and tasty club sandwich, remainder of our party had the toasted sandwiches, and all we could have that evenings was a light supper. Their... More

Stopped by for lunch after visiting the Rock of Cashel. A simple cafe, clean and comfortable. There were many locals, which is a good sign. The food was good and freshly prepared. They seemed to be a little understaffed, although the service was friendly enough (twice we ordered water that we were never to receive). They didn't serve any alcoholic... More

Drawn in by the ' chowder ' a firm personal favourite, we found ourselves in a very good restaurant, despite first impressions. Not large with functional interior the food speaks for itself. Good sized portions and very fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Don't just pass by well worth a visit if visiting Cashel

Lunched here before visiting the Rock, I had chicken with fries and some vegetables. Everything tasted very good and was more than enough. The waitresses were very welcoming and always smiling. The toilets were really clean too. Came back later in the afternoon to get a dessert (a lemon cake) and it was tasty. I would eat here again should... More
