A return visit: tasty antipasti to share for starters, a bunch of good pizzas and pastas and a few glasses of wine. And we met the locals! A big shout out for our young waiter, Jenny's son. Well done! Great to see such a large restaurant buzzing in a small village in the west of Ireland.

We were exhausted after a day of travel and exploring. After checking into our B&B, we walked down the road to L'Arco and were pleasantly surprised. It's warm and inviting, with a great variety of dishes, wines, beers and dessert. Treat yourself to this treasure when you're staying in Ballyvaughan!

We were a party of 5. Arrived at about 6.30. The restaurant was about half full. Initially told that they were fully booked but found us a table. We were very appreciative, at this point. Starters were ordered and delivered promptly. Minestrone soup and cheese and biscuits. As was the wine. Mains were 3 pizzas, tagliatelle and a chicken dish... More

If only the young waitress would wera less makeup ... ;-)) ... otherwise everything ok: Good food, decent drinks, fast and friendly service. But - of course - no real "italian" feeling or atmosphere ...

Just had a meal in this restaurant and it was very poor. Food was cold and having ordered a well done steak we had to return it because it wasn't cooked properly. When it came back out it was still uncooked. Manager send the waitress to offer us liquors but as we are not drinkers a good meal was much... More

The place is very nice and the was very good, but the service was unstisfying. There was only one waiter, and a lady that is probably the owner. The main course took a VERY long time to arrive. Usually that would be a deal braker for me, but this time i stayed. It's the staff that is not organized to... More

After a few weeks eating at Irish pubs we decided to change things up and try some Italian. Unfortunately this was not Italian. The restaurant is beautiful with a nice ambiance. The wine I had was said to be a dry white, it was actually overly sweet. Beer options were fine. Servers were fine but very overworked. They were literally... More

Visiting North County Clare? Look no further than here for good food, great ambience and reasonable prices. We ate as 6 adults and 4 kids(10-13). They had pizza and on reflection one between 2 would have done most of them. We had a selection of Bruschetta, a minestrone soup then a mixture of salmon and chicken main courses (clean plates...
