Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Today it had a nice Christmas feeling. Staff were polite and friendly. Seemed to be very little staff on duty so there were all flying around tge place. The food was the Succulent Chicken Wrap....on a cold day it was a great choice. Lovely pint of Guinness too.

I had a retirement meal out in the Courtyard hotel restaurant, and I have to say it was the most enjoyable evening with my friends. Every one of them had such a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating to all requests and we were treated like stars! Complements to the team in the courtyard and especially to the chef! The room we were in was absolutely beautiful, what more could I have asked for!

We hosted a group of 40 guests at the 1756 restaurant for my daughters christening in December.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated in Christmas Decorations, the menu was so delicious, that turkey and ham was to die for!
My sister has so many allergies and it wasn’t an issue at all.
We arranged our decor with the Hotel too, they provided the balloons and cake. All we had to do was rock up and have a great day.
Communication with the Court Yard was fantastic, the team went above and beyond.
Parking was a bit of an issue on the day that was my only negative.
Thanks for everything, we will definitely be back!

Booked a table for four in the bar for food on Saturday night and was given a table upstairs where there would be live music. We arrived at the front entrance and produced our covid certs only to be told that it was too dark for them to be scanned and he didn't bother to even look at them or ask for photo ID, not an encouraging start. We went upstairs to discover lots of people standing at the bar and walking around without masks. As the music started the room quickly filled up with a very young very drunk crowd dancing and moving about with no masks and it was so crowded that social distancing was impossible. We felt very uncomfortable and completely unsafe especially knowing that covid cert protocols where not being followed. This is the very reason the covid cases are rising, no proper implementation of the covid restrictions and a complete disregard for the regulations. The food was great but we won't be back.

We had black pudding in puff pastry and chorizo with rocket. I had beef, tender and melt in the mouth. And my husband had Salmon and was a very generous portion.
Summer fruits prosecco and will certainly come for dinner again.
Great food by the chef.

Celebrated a large family meal in the Steakhouse recently. Staff were absolutely wonderful. They were so accomodating of our various gluten-free and nut-free requirements. We enjoyed a wonderful family meal looking out over the Liffey.

We come here from time to time for brunch or lunch in their outdoor covered area. It's handy to stop in with the toddler, the baby and the dog and it's by the river which is on our walking route. There isn't a similar alternative in the town unfortunately.
Many times it's been disappointing. On a Saturday or Sunday mid-morning there's more than a fifty-fifty chance you'll find the outdoor area strewn with broken glass from the night before. Can't believe they'd open the place in that state. Have often called the staff to clear it up, they're always rushed off their feet because the place is clearly understaffed.
They also have no smoking signs in the covered area. Smokers can stay out in the open section with the big screen. I'm theory this is great for having the kids there, except that they inexplicably leave ash trays on the tables in the covered area, which inevitably encourages smoking in there despite the signs.

Excellent, friendly service from all staff members. Popped in for lunch with a couple of friends. Chowder, triple decker sandwich and chicken burger all good. Guinness excellent. We sat inside, where multiple TVs where showing every live game. Huge screens in the massive covered beer garden. Very nice place.

As a couple at the beginning of September 2023, we really liked this friendly place where many Irish people meet. We were going there late in the afternoon getting off the bus (C3) after our day spent visiting Dublin. Ideal place to relax with a Guiness beer or a cup of tea, or even enjoy a hearty "CourtYard Club" with its "bacon and cheese fries". Excellent welcome (especially Nadine and Matheus!) with very reasonable prices. It is possible to sit outside (where a giant screen is installed) with a small fountain which flows in summer and contributes to the calm of the place. A nightclub also upstairs (which we didn't go to) with staff providing security outside. It appears that FrontBar, Arthur's Bar, CourtYard Dining and CourtYard Hotel form the same large hotel complex, very popular for many weddings in Leixlip. In short, we really enjoyed this place which we highly recommend, without having had time to take advantage of all the amenities.

This place has gone down hill massively, size of portions and price rises, never mind the attitude of the bar staff to the customers,

This place has gone downhill over the past few years with very little emphasis on customer satisfaction, repeat business, training staff or any visible, trained or professional management to oversee things. I had a family event prebooked with the hotel and, coming from the hotel industry myself, sent a detailed plan of what we agreed with reservations. We ran about 15 minutes late, which was flagged, and upon arrival had to seek out somebody in the restaurant to assist us. The area was not properly set up. The cutlery, crockery and glassware were filthy. I had to take them all off. I had to ask for the food (pastries etc) to be brought out a few times. Then I had to ask for tea/coffee to be offered. I took milk off surrounding tables because they didn't supply it and had to ask for accompaniments to be brought out. The girls, whilst young, were obviously not trained or watched by a manager at all so they didn't know what they were to do. I had to approach reception about paying and wasn't even asked how we got on. I sent on an email of complaint and heard nothing.
I had to take a friend for a cuppa recently and we went back there and three staff members walked past us whilst we were seated and never asked if we wanted menus, drinks or what we were doing there. I eventually had to go to Reception and ask them could we get service. The waitress did not understand what we wanted, brought the wrong order, had to be reminded to bring some of order and forgot little things like condiments etc. No manager around to supervise or direct them to where they should go. Bad management all round.

Called in when strolling around Leixlip, we were staying at a different hotel, the food was really good, the rotisserie chicken was excellent and when the Korma arrived for my Mrs, it had a lot of vegetables in it but it was no trouble for staff to get it replaced with a vegetable free chicken korma and the Mrs really enjoyed it. Staff very Friendly and helpful, I would recommend a visit.

More like nachos slops or "mess". Limp nachos and no chillies in meat, just 4 jalepenos as decoration. Ripoff price , mini condiments. Generally, if you are a nachos fan, this is a tasteless mess
