Had been told about this 'Cafe' so decided to call. I have never tasted chips like them. Oh my word. They were so good we went the next day to fill up before our journey home. The chicken curry is wonderful. The staff were really friendly, considering we only went in 5 minutes before closing!

Charleys cafe does exactly what it says on the box and does it very well. Great breakfasts, fantastic fish & chips and battered sausages at a reasonable rate. Staff efficient and pleasant. If you're looking for homemade chips look no further.

The best wee fish &chip shop in town. Food always up to high standard servers always more than helpful and great wee chef who always makes sure the food is up to very high standard. One of my all time childhood favs and probably always will be.

When you go away for a weekend you tend to eat too fancy so my hubby and I went to Charlie's. It had been recommended to me by an English gent that I got talking to in a bar. He was not wrong, the fish supper was great and the sausage supper was superb. The place was not the fanciest... More

If you want a good old fashioned chippy, this is the place. Unlike mr chippy, it ain't swimming in grease. I got the chicken burger and guess what, actual chicken!! Divine. Loaded with salad and coleslaw and the chips, very good. I'm picky about my chips. Staff are lovely and very friendly. Basically if you're dining solo, you won't feel... More

Vacationing again in Ireland and once again visited Charley's café. Was very impressed that the owner remembered us from last year and where we were from!. Great hospitality! We both had the fish and chips and they were fantastic! This year we were staying too far away from Letterkenny to visit often but look forward to more meals in Charley's... More

Description
I suggested this restaurant earlier but did not get a response. It is a friendly, family run business that has fantastic fish and chips. They are fresh chips, not the frozen kind which was a lovely surprise.
