Reading some of the negative reviews and sadly I have to agree, it's not what it used to be! Poor quality chips and age old battered sausages! I worked here as a kid (down by beach), one of the best jobs I've had so I know how it should be......battered sausages take 2mins to cook, why cook off so many... More

Place has gone downhill so much. Im not writing this review after one negative experience-i have had several in recent times, they are constantly serving chips that are reheated and cooked food that's been left for an age under the heat leaving it dried out. Only go to the one down by the beach if it's summer and queues are... More

Best local chipper ever. Always tastes good and fresh, i know, some will say its all deep fried, but in moderation its all good. We use as a treat now and then. Good value. Great deals.

I was on a week holiday celebrating my father's 60th birthday with my extended family ,we spent some time in the local pubs/restaurants etc as you do on holiday .I had fish a couple of times which was quite pleasant but on my last night I decided I'd stay in for a few drinks and a chipper so I went... The only bad thing is a good thing and that's the queues! They're always epic here!! That's coz the food is so good and popular with locals and tourists alike. Do not miss!

What is it about fish and chips by the sea. These was beautiful. Not greasy or fatty but perfectly cooked. The seasoning was spot on and the taste was oh so good.

Have to say this place has gone downhill badly. Ten euro for a sliver of fish that's engulfed in greasy batter and a handful of inedible greasy chips. They were so hard and greasy the birds couldn't even eat them. Fairly disappointed, won't be back.

Nicest scampi eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever! We are just home after a week in Tramore, we were staying next door to Dooley's. The queues at times are unreal!! Worth the wait though.

This is undoubtedly the best fish and chip shop near the beach. Freshly cooked food, large portions and very reasonable prices.Be prepared to queue - this chipper is so popular you'll often find long queues. Believe me it's worth the wait!
