I revisited the Poachers with friends, for an evening meal. The choice of mains was very good and we all ate seafood dishes, which were delicious. Desserts were very interesting and tasty.

This is a great place to visit on your back from west cork or for a trip out of the city. Food is always excellent great buzz in the restaurant especially Sunday afternoon. Deserts excellent.

Two excellent salads. Only reservation was that the Crab was sparse in the Crab salad Service exceptional efficient and very pleasant and welcoming.

I had lunch and thought that it was good value for what I got. My husband had hake and chowder for 24 euro and I had 3 courses for 29 euro. The portions were great and the food was delicious
