'Tommy's' is a local chipper that's been around for years. Everybody in the town, and further, knows it and loves it. It's mainly chipper food but they also do other things like dinner and curry. They famous for their fish and chips, which they make themselves. If you want something that the locals love then this is the place to... More

First port of call after our regular trips from London to Buncrana. My missus loves the fish and "chip" in here. The chicken is not bad either. In the family, we have a standing joke calling it the "Roadkill Cafe" - not a reflection on the quality of the food or service - just a fun pun on the actual... More

Roadside Cafe or Tommy's as it is known locally is as close as you will get in Buncrana to a traditional chip shop. It has its busy times so be prepared for a wait if you visit during one of these peak times. The take-away service is very popular but be careful you are not queue jumped.

Ordered the fish & chips to eat in. The staff member wasn't overly friendly but we got served quickly. Food was great and its a cosy place to eat but the decor could do with an update.

Excellent food. Just the sheer amount of grease was slightly annoying. Lovely prices. Cleanliness ok. Hit the diff and pray

I remember when I was younger, I used to love getting some fish suppers from Tommys as a treat, but I don't know if it's because I have tried more things in more places now, or if it really just isn't as good as it used to be :( I got some food when I was back recently, and it... More

Very friendly staff but food was terrible. If it's grease you want, it's grease you'll get. Fish and chips was grease batter with something i think was supposed to be fish in the middle, the experience was similar to eating pure lard.

Thank Solait
