Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited on 22/10/2023 as a group of 20 ladies for a “baby shower”. Staff couldnt do enough for us. They had set up 2 x tables each seating 10 in the upstairs room. Room was lovely with fresh flowers on the tables and beautiful ambience....Room was perfect, food was delicious all served piping hot and together, service was very prompt snd attentive. They also carried on with full cafe downstairs as busy Sunday Morning. Thank you so much Blue Bicycle for making everything perfect for us Would totally recommend to everyone to visit here 👏 xxMore

We were treated to a super selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones, beautifully presented. The 3 of us enjoyed it all and washed it down with tea from the selection!

Been back a few times to the Blue Bicycle, took friends for breakfast with was perfectly cooked and a real treat. I have the gluten free breakfast and was really tasty. Others had the standard breakfast and the cereal with fresh fruits. With another friend...I had the tuna sandwich and clotted cream scone and she had the soup and chocolate cake. Right in heart of town with outside seating area at rear. Great atmosphere and flowers on tables - all very clean.More

Eaten at the Blue Bicycle several times for breakfast and lunch over the last two months. Service is so friendly with a smile and décor quirky. Everywhere so clean. Dog friendly. Fab outdoor seating area around back of café - accessed down the side of...the passageway next to the church. Great place to people watch and have a special coffee or pot of tea and toast and marmalade in the morning. Sandwiches are really tasty and fresh and made to order and come with couscous and side salad. Cakes are amazing - all home made types and home mad scones with clotted cream and jam are a must try. On main street and highly recommended.More

Small and friendly, with reliable food and service. We usually have lunch here but the cakes do look very appetizing!

Big Sis took me for lunch as it's one of her favourite places to stop for lunch. We shared a Tuna mayo sandwich as we wanted to try the cakes after. Sandwich came with a really nice side salad and very fresh bread. We had...tea for two and after I had the Walnut cake and big sis had the Victoria sponge - all tasted great. Service very friendly and with a smile. Great window seats to watch the world going by too. Everywhere very clean and already looking forward to going back.More

We have been here several times before and have previously been very happy with the food. Today, we had the Chicken Caesar Salad. The portions were tiny, the chicken was anaemia and unappetising and half the bacon was fat. Very poor value.

Such a lovely cafe with excellent service, food and coffee. We booked a table and had a lunch with friends; the staff were all friendly and wise as to dietary requirements. The tables were clean and the operation all well organised. Excellent coffee to start...and all the food was well prepared and very tasty. Only slight blip was too much salt put onto the chips. Will certainly returnMore

First visit and we were very impressed. Great choices on the menu, prices are good, and the service is excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff, food was fresh and tasty and drinks well prepared. The cakes look to die for but we were being well...behaved this time. Next time, the Kinder Brownie is going to be on the order for sure! We'll be back and we highly recommend. Support local!More

Made a few visits to this place now and customer service is always excellent. Did not disappoint as I once again requested a hot cappuccino and coffee still tasted great. Food is very tasty. I have tried the breakfast burger, egg sandwich and cup of...soup, and on this occasion, I tried the sausage, cheese and hash brown wrap which sounds weird but it was tasty. Hash brown was just okay but enjoyed it overall but I probably wouldn’t have it again. Previous food mentioned delicious. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. I would recommend a visit.More

I’ve been dying to try the blue bicycle for sometime. This morning, I thought I would treat myself to breakfast there. I was a couple of minutes late for the breakfast menu, but they kindly allowed me to have a full English which I have...to say was absolutely perfect. Good quality ingredients, cooked absolutely perfectly and piping hot, I enjoyed every mouthful. I will be back!More

Only the second time I’ve been here, but it won’t be the last! The food is lovely, especially the granola and fruit, maple bacon and pancakes, just delicious, nice loose leaf tea as well. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, the prices are...great too. …and it’s dog friendly as well. What more do you need. P.S. to the person below, who gave 1* because they got loaf ends with “delicious soup” a: normally more bread in a crust (yay!) b: not happy, then ask, I’m sure they’d have changed it c: don’t trash a small business for petty reasons. It’s not easy running a business, have some forethought for others.More
