This fab spot, although hidden is a gem . You can expect a breakfast menu that is loaded with delicious options and lunch is the same plus there are usually specials. They even do a supper club, My favorite dish is the Shakshuka which is eggs baked in tomatoe, paprika and pesto . The service is personal and you feel... More

We gathered for a divine business lunch and were (as always) served delicious plates of remarkable food. Abbey’s service is always effective and with a smile. Heaven! Ideal for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake. In fact, any excuse is good to visit – even a solo coffee!

Recently were a table of 4 who had brunch here. 2 of our party ordered extra avo and extra bacon. The extras were not listed on the menu and we were not advised of the extra cost - R30 for 2 rashers of bacon is a complete rip off. Won't see us here again!!

Saturday tradition: Omelette and a flat white after hiking through Newlands Forest - I just love this place! Cute, cozy and food for all gluten-intolerant or the health conscious.

What a great find. This cozy restaurant has a great menu with fresh, organic meals and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The outside area is tastefully decorated to make you feel like you're out of the city. Would definitely recommend!

We were shopping at the Block & Chisel furniture store and needed a break. We had a slice of carrot cake which was average and Americanos. These were so acidic (from Burundi) I couldn't drink more than half. I note all the good reviews however so will have to give this place another chance.

Wonderful macchiato served with a sweet pastry – perfect for breakfast. Love the vibe, the energy and the excellent service from Abbey. And it is always a treat to browse ate the magnificent items at Block & Chisel interiors.

I just love the excellent coffees at the Larder, brewed to perfection. Abby serves coffee and cake with style and a smile. The cakes are divine – over a few days I sampled a biscuit, short bread, moist chocolate cake, a cinnabun and a Portuguese milk tartlet. Every item was baked with love and butter and divine. Ideal for coffee... More

This place is just next to my office, but in my opinion it's far too overpriced. I found the service is good and staff (probably the owners) are very friendly. The coffee is great. I had a meal there a few times as part of our office outing and it was good too, but once I forgot my lunch and... More

Our lunch was perfect & we were starving after a 0500hr trip from the Karoo with no breakfast! Fresh, tasty, wholesome! Well done! William & Colleen from P A Country Store
