As good a place as you;ll find in Doolin. We visited several times during our stay in Doolin and McDermott;s didn't disappoint even once! Wonderful staff, with great personality and recommendations about the area.

This is a great typical Irish pub where the ceol agus craic is mighty!!! 🎻🎹🎼 The staff are on the ball ensuring that the crowd are served quickly & kept happy 🍺🥃. & if that wasn't enough for you there is always great entertainment (well during the summer months at least- but then again you wouldn't be visiting Doolin during... The restaurant food was very good. Always recommend the vegetable soup and brown bread. The service was very good. The pubs in Doolin have to be highly rated just for the fact they have great traditional Irish music. But hurry, it's changing quickly and getting a little too commercial for me.

My girlfriend and I spot here for lunch while on vacation from Canada. The bartender/server was quite friendly. We had chowder and a sandwich. It was good but nothing special. We had eaten at O'Connor's Pub the last 2 nights so I think we were spoiled.

My wife and I were looking for a local pub experience and we got one. This place was fantastic. Poured Guinness the right way and the live music was just a ton of fun. We had a really good fried fish here and the owner of the bar has a really great attitude even when it's packed (which seems normal).... More

We stopped here with Paddywagon Tours on our way to the Cliffs of Moher. Luckily, we beat the lunch crowd and I was treated with some of the best Salmon I have ever eaten! They have plenty of beer on tap in the bar and the food is served up lunch-line style. Definitely worth a stop if passing through town.

We go to Doolin a couple of times every year and always go to McDermott's for a bit of a session. The grub is lovely and also cheap. Without fail the atmosphere is brilliant and the craic is absolutely 90!! You're guaranteed a good night out or a few quiet ones during the day - whatever you fancy. Great pub
