We had a delicious tea stop here on a walk from Hever to Leigh. Highly recommend scones, which were freshly baked and served with gooseberry jam.

What could be better - a walk around Penshurst followed by tea and cake at the Fir Tree. If it's summer, enjoy the garden. If it's chilly, sit by the fire! Apple and raspberry cake is my favourite!

This is by far the best tearoom in the area. Fantastic cakes and lovely garden to enjoy in the summer. Friendly waitresses and good service.

We had afternoon tea in the pretty gardens here yesterday because the tea rooms were completely full, as was most of the garden! The tea was freshly brewed in a pot, a good range of choices were available, and I chose the earl grey which...More
