Last Sunday was the second visit to Breakers in Uvongo, the first being in February where our first choice turned us, a table of six away because their kitchen was closing in half an hour - we were there at 13h30 on a Sunday!!!! Their loss! This time around my wife and I were sorely tempted by their R 129.00... More

After a long trip to the coast we were thrilled to be welcomed by the friendly staff of breakers who managed to cater to each of our varied tastes and provide a kiddy play area for our extremely energetic daughter quite eager to escape the confines of the vehicle. The cuisine was lovely, the staff friendly and the restaurant just... More

2nd time at the restaurant in 2 years. They have play areas for kids which was great from my young child. Waiter's recommendation of the mains was interesting, Monk Fish. Checked out the picture of the fish on the net and I was terrified. He assured me that I won't regret it! And I didn't :) Tastes better than it... More

This was really good. Shared the mini platter between three. The prawns were excellent, the calamari very good and the line fish good. Not everyone gets creme brûlée right with out lumps, but this was perfect. Congratulations.

We stopped here for our last lunch out of our holiday, and the did not disappoint. We Steak was very tasy and cooked exactly as requested, and the fish was well cooked and tasty too. The staff were friendly and service was not too slow. There is a play area out back for the kids that my son really enjoyed.

We had supper there. Service was very good. I had a steak and it was a bit chewy. My husband had fish and he said it was good.

Keeping in mind that we live in a globalised world where frozen pre-packaged fish, and imported calamari from Argentina is the norm; it wasn't bad frozen fish, and imported calamari. We quite enjoyed it. If I have to be critical it was a touch too oily and quite pricy.

We were a party of 3 on a quiet night. Service was friendly and efficient. We all had Sole and were very satisfied with preparation time. Very tasty meal. Not the cheapest but well worth the "bucks". I will return again.

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Could not find much wrong. Crayfish dish was a bit dry, but okay.
