Really good pub with good quality rooms, modern clean and well comfortable, recommend eating in the restaraunt as it was superb quality beautifully presented and good value! Will definitely use again!

Very sorry for any confusion this may have caused. All upgrades are mentioned on the menu. The server may have assumed you saw this and wanted the upgrade. We promise we do not have hidden costs on our menus.

Poor service, bland food and the en-suite of the room that I stayed in was pretty manky. Continental breakfast very basic and I didn't enjoy the cold stale croissant. I travel a lot in this part of the country but I wouldn't stay here again.More

Went for lunch today with the family at the St. George and Dragon Inn. Friendly and attentative staff, excellent food and a lovely venue. We were very impressed and would definitely go again. Highly recommended.
