Is it a question about time to be served? My personal experience is different, I did not feel I needed to wait too long. But this is a relative thing: I was never in a hurry. And perhaps that is something to bear in mind when eating (or do anything else) and that is that the local culture and customs are (almost!) never to hurry. Especially Europeans need to adjust themselves to this. Take it ease, take your time, just as the local style.
