The Inn on the Shore is set amongst the unspoiled coastline and countryside of South East Cornwall and offers panoramic views of Rame Peninsula in one direction and Looe Island in the other. Located just above Downderry Beach, the Inn on the Shore is family and dog friendly, offering a warm welcome to everyone. From our kitchen you can enjoy our delicious seasonal menu. We have two dining areas; one with sliding doors to let the outside in and one with a large picture window looking out to sea. We have eight beautifully-refurbished en-suite letting rooms for you to stay in, all of which are dog friendly! Please call ahead if you would like to book with a dog.

We are so lucky to have the Inn on the Shore as our local pub.
Recently changed management. Still looks the same inside, with the same lovely staff. The biggest difference is the food. Wow, absolutely delicious. Fresh, great quality and tasty.
