Very nice pub which has returned to the high standard of the past. Great steak pie and good soup. Landlord and staff were very obliging.

Rooms are on the small size, but was fine for a short stay. Breakfast was good any plentiful. We came down to Crickowel for a wedding, so didn't stay in the pub much. Staff were very friendly.

Starters were nice but Sunday lunch not so nice. The vegetables were from a microwaveable bag and tasteless.the beef was chewy tough and had a funny taste to it.it was sent back and no more veg or potatoes were given.very disappointing.
