This is a super pub to eat at. Staff are very polite and helpful. Choice of beers is good. Food is plentiful, well cooked and prices are average. What spoiled our evening was that hoards of quizzers crowded into the eating area from about 7.20...even though the quiz was not to start until eight. It would have been more polite to close the kitchen altogether rather than to subject eaters to this imposition.More
Beautiful both inside & out, spot on decor, lighting, music, highly efficient staff always well presented & very courteous. Great selection of all drinks. The food was 11/10 fantastic, well presented, tasted amazing, congratulations to all the staff.Dogs welcome, just a beautiful place to be.
Excellent Sunday lunch, great service, friendly staff, nice outdoor seating area, we will be back soon.
My daughter and I managed to just catch the last service at The Adam and Eve today on our way back from a long road trip. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The food was perfect. At some point everyone should try the Adam...and Eve Ploghmans it is an experience. Amazing. The Brocolli and Stilton soup was the best soup I have ever had anywhere in the world and that's across 21 countries! This place keeps getting better. The new menu and the food are a credit to the new chef in residence Steve and his team. We will be back many many more times.More
This was our 2nd and 3rd visit to this pub, for lunch, whilst travelling to/from Norfolk. On the main road it is not far from Market Rasen. This pub is a joy to sit and eat in and it also has a lovely outside seating...area. We enjoyed our lunch there and would recommend to fellow travellers.More
We stopped at the Adam and Eve on the way back from Skegg one Sunday, wow, best decision we made, one of the best Sunday lunch ever, well done, well recommended, thank you👍👍 On a different note, only god knows why I have had to...use 200 characters writing this review, before it will let me leave one🙄😕More
This is the best Sunday roast around! Love coming here, always great food and service. Would thoroughly recommend. A++
Sunday lunch, usually a basic pub meal. This meal was exceptional, every item on the plate was delicious. Our experience had us book another meal and this too was a treat. Someone waved a magic wand to produce this. My companions, my wife, daughter and...son in law all either trained as chefs or spent a long time being one and they agree with me, these meals were superb. The staff were efficient and attentive, a very enjoyable experience.More
Lovely meal and well presented Lewis our server was very friendly and attentive no long waits it was all very smooth
This place is such a gem. We stayed here to go to British Superbikes at Cadwell Park and it was so convenient. Very welcoming, friendly staff, very comfortable and classy surroundings but most of all the food was gorgeous. We couldn't fault it at all,...in fact we wished we stayed there longer. Dinner was superb, but the breakfast was incredible, it was the best full English breakfast I have ever had, the ingredients were sourced locally, so very, very tasty. As it was the bank holiday we were treated to some live music where two of the waitresses joined in and were very talented. We would go back in a heartbeat. Full marks to the owner who had a great vision.More
We booked a table in advance so not to be disappointed. They are dog friendly, you can eat in the Bar area, which is lovely. The staff are all welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The food is superb quality and locally sourced. I had the...Sea-bass which melted in my mouth. Hubby and our friend had the Sunday Turkey roast, which they thoroughly recommend, and our other friend had the vegetarian gratin which he said was delicious! We have been here on several occasions now and we will happily return. Lovely buzz about the place, we really enjoyed ourselves.More
I had a Gender Reveal gathering with approx 30 people this Sunday in the garden teepee. The teepee was well lit, well set out and a lovely venue. The Sunday Lunches were all delicious, hot and a good portion. Everyone LOVED the food and some...even said it was the best Sunday lunch they’ve ever had :-) my mum adored the Seabass dish too. The staff are always really helpful and friendly too, they went out of their way to help whenever I asked and also tidied away the rubbish at the end etc. The only constructive feedback I can provide is for there to be a quicker, more structured way to receive and send the pre-orders, as I did have to chase a few times and ask for a changed Menu format I could open. Also a warning that the teepee floor could be wet (but it was raining).More
The venue is lovely, welcoming, modern but with a nod to what went before. The menu was not what we expected after researching 2 days earlier, the various vegetarian options were not available. What we all had was tasty but, I did wonder why the...waitress asked if I wanted extra sides with my sea bass as seemingly most do - wish I’d said yes, sea bass fillet with 1 large crushed new potato and a very small handful of spinach for £18 - cheese sandwich at home it is!! Other meals in our party were lovely but on the small side. Can’t fault flavours - all beautifully cooked. Shame that waitresses didn’t come anywhere near after food was served - would’ve been a dry night if we didn’t go for drinks ourselves. That said, nice feel to the place, food tasty if not as expected and would probably visit againMore
The food was great and the steak was cooked just how we asked, amazing service by all staff and everything was reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning very soon.
