Used to go here years ago, we lost touch, went back today after seeing reviews on here and we were not disappointed, the food was excellent, real chips, a lot of pubs could learn from this, friendly staff and an excellent menu choice, clean and...More

We visited this pub on a dreary, wet day and were greeted by a roaring log fires and a very friendly chap tending the bar and restaurant. We had a delicious meal - the portions were on the large side and I challenge anyone to...More

I’ve reviewed the Fox and Pheasant a number of times from 1 star to 5 star, currently, in my opinion, it sits somewhere in the middle. The food was OK but it has lost its ‘home cooked’ feel. The pub has lost its country pub...More

Excellent food and service. One criticism, cold plates! Extensive menu with interesting specials, well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Lots of choice on the menu, reasonably priced, lovely food and lots of it. The waiting staff were very attentive. We highly recommend the Fox and Pheasant.

We were staying nearby and ate here twice while we were there. The main reason we initially called was that they are dog friendly and it was too warm to leave our dog in the car but, having enjoyed our first meal so much, we...More

Hi unfortunately I can't remember if there were any dogs in the bar when we went - it was 6 months ago now. I'd suggest calling the pub before visiting to check if this is the case.
