Great little country pub with some imaginative dishes - not fine dining but good well cooked food. Staff are friendly and weekends are very busy so best to book. My husband tells me that they have some really good local ales. My only slight gripe would be the ladies loo which is by the rear entrance - it is clean... More

All rather tired and in need of a some tlc. The food was a mixed experience. My daughter's tomato and basil soup had a very strong citrus taste. My fish was pretty tasteless. The sticky toffee pudding however was excellent. Because of the inconsistency we would not return

Visited here after it was recommended by family. We received a warm welcome. Books and toys were provided for my granddaughter. She played on the floor and was made a fuss of by staff and regulars. Food was delicious. The baileys French toast was tasty but portion was huge and I wasted most of it. Would definitely eat here again... More

We asked if we could have a table for seven, to which she set up in minutes. The food was excellent, service... More

Quiet location the only noise I heard was in the car park when people left when the pub closed. Excellent Breakfast had a full English... More

This pub and bed and breakfast facilities are amazing. Food is first class. Cater for awkward people like me. New rooms are great. Big light and airy. Ian is a great host
