Bowness-on-Solway is a small village that relies on it's location at the end of Hadrian's wall for tourism revenue. The Kings Arms is about the only place in town for dinner, but they don't take that fact for granted. The service is good, the food...More

Walked the entire Hadrian's wall path, east to west, and were looking for some food. The Kings Arms is pretty much the only option. However with a variety of beers and ales on draft and a good selection of food we were vary satisfied. Ambiance...More

Went for food on our one night in Bowness-on-Solway. Good food and beer but what really made it were the staff - very friendly and helpful. It was really busy with people eating, they did find us a table but it might be worth booking.
