We had a lovely meal on our final night after walking Hadrian's Wall. They provide high quality home made food, the specials were excellent, very friendly service. It is a locals pub.

Our first night before beginning the 84 mile walk along Hadrian's Wall path, we visited the Kings Arm pub, and enjoyed a delicious meal. Steak and Kidney pie was amazing, the fish and chips delicious and the beer welcome after a long day of travel.
