Overall a disappointing experience. We booked two months in advance, and requested a window table which we were to.d would be fine. On arrival we were shown to a central table, in a high traffic area. At my husband’s request, we were moved, however we...didn’t feel this was popular as no member of staff asked how our meal was or if we needed any thing, at any point. Our starters were fine, my husband had Cullen Skink and I had rolled salmon and oatcakes. When these were cleared, I asked for a second glass of wine. 15 minutes later, my husband went to find someone as no wine had appeared, and no sign of any staff near our table. The wine was expensive at £9 for a large glass of Sauvignon! Our main course was “Fisherman’s Feast” including fish cake, haddock, salmon and langoustines. These were served on wooden boards, mine had a large crack in it, which can’t have been clean. The salmon was very over cooked. We were not supplied with a finger bowl for the langoustines, or any implements to crack the shell or eat the meat. Again, no member of staff came to ask if we needed anything. We declined dessert and coffee, as by this time we were very dissatisfied. This restaurant claims to be a seafood restaurant, and charges a premium price, but unfortunately does not provide premium food or service. Our meal cost £85 for two people, consisting of two courses and two glasses of wine. (My husband drank tap water). We would not return here.More

A real gem at the end of the road! Lovely greeting and were able to get a table for 2. If you’re specifically driving here for a meal then I would say you need to book. Great coffee - 1 pot of americani yielded 2...cups per person. We had Mac & cheese, Cullen skink, lemon polenta cake & sticky toffee cake. Not cheap but commensurate with what we have been paying elsewhere. Thank you for a lovely lunch.More

Menu selection was excellent as was the service from the moment we stepped in the restaurant. The ability of the staff and chef to deal with our specific requests on alterations to menu was first class. The quality of the food was excellent all enhanced...by the viewMore

We came to visit as 6 young lads, as expected turned up without a reservation and quite untidy. The owner, Sally was more than accommodating in getting a table ready for us. We ate here 3 times in 4 days, trying specials, lunch and dinner...menus. Couldn’t fault the food, very tasty and well presented. Best part of the experience was the staff. Very friendly, happy to accommodate, fun and engaging in friendly conversation created a very warm and cosy environment to relax in. Highly recommended.More

We came here to try out the seafood at lunchtime. The pan fried cod with langoustine and mussel Mediterranean stew from the Specials board sounded delicious, if pricey (£23). Unfortunately it was underwhelming. Skin of cod was not crispy, and the stew was watery, with...vegetables undercooked. 2 langoustines, 3 tiny mussels. I politely gave feedback as I think it's fair to tell them face to face. Husband's fish and chips ok but again nothing special for £15.50. Also had a flat white coffee which tasted like week filter coffee with watery froth on top (£3.50). I accept higher prices in remote places but they have to do better to justify it.More

We visited last week whilst on holiday in leverburgh. The food was lovely and very fresh. We can highly recommend the fisherman’s platter, Cullen Skink and the scallop risotto. The sun was setting just at the end of our meal and the view was lovely....We tried to go back again on our last night on holiday but unfortunately we couldn’t get a table, definitely advise anyone to prebook in advance.More
