Very busy has a very good menu would recommend booking. We had buffet there over two nights team were really helpful and welcoming couldn't do enough for us.

This is a really nice olde worlde style pub with a nice selection of food and local beers. It is very popular so booking might be a good idea.

After finally settling on a visit to the Abergavenny Arms, my friend and I arrived just past 5.30pm to be told dinner starts at 6pm but that the menus were being typed up and the kitchens being fired up so could probably order very soon....More

We had walked from Lewes and stopped for lunch. I was expecting that this pub was good but it turned out to be better than that. Friendly staff, good food and some fine ales, I had a pint of 'Legless'. Unreservedly recommend this pub.
