A relaxed meal in the bar. Our party of five had a great table by the log fire; service was friendly and the food was perfect after a long walk - we had various dishes including haddock Monte Carlo, burger/chips, chicken special of the day,...More

Lovely pub with great ambiance and friendly staff. Menu is top notch for a country pub and service is fairly brisk and efficient.

Came here as a surprise for Valentine's Day, even though we were both feeling a little unwell! We were greeted by a gentleman who was friendly and told us where we should park. He then met us at the door of the cottage behind the...More

Had lunch at the Dorset Arms recently with an ex-work colleague who chose this rural venue rather than just eat in Tunbridge Wells. Many years since I have been to The Dorset Arms and was most pleasantly surprised by its new look and the quality...More

In-line with previous reviews: we also had an appalling experience for Christmas Dinner on Christmas day. We also were placed outside of the main building in an outside courtyard with a retractable roll-back roof, no windows, overbearing heating which was turned off at some point;...More

We had a special celebration for my sisters 70th birthday at the Dorset arms including an overnight stay. The rooms were excellent, nice and clean and comfortable with lovely views over the adjoining countryside. However, the best aspect was the fantastic service by every member...More

Big pub but doesn't lose a lot for it. Good selection of ales. Sunday roast very good and they were accommodating on how we wanted the beef cooked (all wanted "pretty rare"). Fairly priced, but I didn't pay :-)
