We bought a drink and decided to go to the beer garden, which is divided into three sections. All the benches were uneven, and most in a dilapidated condition. The entire lawn area was covered in large quantities of dog poo. Also, outside the pub...More

Booked for Sunday lunch and were greeted warmly. Cosy log fire burning away. Enjoyed a plentiful and well cooked typical,Sunday roast lunch with an excellent bread and butter pudding to finish. Well worth a visit.

We’ve visited the Bell twice now, in the last 3 months, and on both occasions we were delighted. Good honest fare - no daft meals on slates or oversized plates - no chips in silly metal buckets. Proper meals - very generous helpings - served...More

We went to the bell inn for a evening meal tonight. The staff did not have a clue on how to run a pub! Their dog was running under the tables and running around people's feet. Hopefully they will sort it!

Yes the pub has been sold so will be under new management. But not had the chance to go and try out new menu etc yet. It is a great shame as the original menu of 46810 was really good.
