I've eaten here several times over the past few years. They are known for their award winning and world record pizzas, which are delicious. But equally as delicious are their fresh pasta dishes, Italian specialties and home made desserts.if you are in the verse area, definitely stop by. You won't be sorry.

House wine was great and I was very impressed with the gluten-free menu. Went there twice on a 6 day trip.

If you want to eat pizza made with different than usual doughs, it's the perfect place, They have glutenfree pizzas, whole grain pizzas and even pizzas made with "riso venere". Please, try them all. In addition, they have seafood-based antipasti which you should not miss. Though the premise is quite large, reservation is highly recommended.

Attending a conference in Italy raises at least one expectation: great food. That was not the case at Vecchio Ottocento. The staff was expeditive, so at least the waiting time was acceptable. And the price was inexpensive. But altogether, not great.

Yes the pizza was excellent. In Italy everyone gets their own pie. (usually eaten with knife and fork not hands) they are about 12-14" in diameter. thin crust but not "cracker" thin. staff and serve time was better than most I've experienced in this region. It is still longer than most american settings, so don't be in a hurry. The... More

This Pizzeria is quite well-known in the area for its good pizza. The chef has won several prices. I like their pizza "Chi" al Kamut. Highly recommended.
