We ate here two nights in a row, on both occasions we had excellent food and really outstanding table service. The menu is really good, our New Year’s Eve meal was so tasty. Try it when you’re in the area!

Lunch on New Year's Eve, 2018. Excellent, friendly service, outstanding food and a very fine wine list. Rutland is very well served with fine restaurants, but the Wheatsheaf in Greetham is surely at the top of the list for quality and value!

Excellent hosts and food very tasty indeed. Unfortunately it’s not often I eat out without thinking “could have possibly done better myself”, but not today!!! We really enjoyed our Sunday Lunch, thank you.

5 of us visited for an evening meal. 4 of us delighted but the bavette steak was disappointing. Baked cod delicious. Service reasonable and prices OK

Dogs are very welcome in the bar area only. They are not allowed in the restaurant area though.
