This is a gem. The atmosphere is that of a comfortable sweater and slippers whilst eating your favourite meal. Had Sunday roast the first day, excellent food with great chips and veg. Went back following evening, Pie night, and again not disappointed in anyway. Service...More

We had the most enjoyable lunch here. It really was wonderful! A lovely selection of teas and a hearty vegetarian menu. We especially enjoyed the goats cheese and mediterranean veg on toast! The was absolutely brilliant, so polite and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

Waste of time and money. Staff rude and unhelpful. Food poor. Don't seem to like people walking in and paying for food and drink. Overpriced.

Stopped off here on way to Essex. My daughter had been here previously although several years ago, and said it was a lovely little place. She certainly got that right! The pub is small but cosy and very traditional. We all chose our meal, whilst...More

We came here one wet evening as we were staying at the local campsite. The pub was warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. My son and I had scampi and chips and white bait to start with. My daughter had the children’s chicken...More
