We were staying at the Rutland Caravan Park, which is a few minutes walk away. We ate at the Plough twice in one week. It's good, honest, pub grub. The food is plentiful, well cooked and well presented. The landlady was nice and friendly. Sunday lunch was excellent! We would eat here again for sure.

Absolutely delicious food that feels home made with good portions and friendly service. Cosy pub, excellent prices, very reasonable. We went back twice in one week as we liked it so much!

We couldn't get in at the other restaurant up the road but could get in at the plough. The car park is not obviously signposted and is a tight turn if you're on the same side of the road as the pub. We had to turn around further down the road. It's not that big either. Beer and other drinks... More

The pub could do with a deep clean and updating... however, Good value for money. Sunday lunch was freshly cooked, homemade Yorkshire, cauliflower cheese and gravy etc. The downside was that the beef was very well done... older parents happy with this, however, I found it tough and didn't eat it. The menu and pub are dated but for what... More

Friendly locals, decent pub grub, fresh veg. Monday night and it was buzzing. Portions were too big for us so only had one course. Excellent value all round

Great meal steak onion rings mushroom tomato and chips . The steak was cooked to perfection and excellent value for money. The Plough also always serves lovely fresh bread and butter with your meal. When you pay the bill you get homemade chocolates yum yum. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely thoroughly enjoy this pub.

We were staying at the campsite up the road and called in for a drink and to book a table for sat night. Could not have been made more welcome and the food was really good, especially the stilton sauce! Would highly recommend a visit. Staff are really friendly.
