Popped in at last minute to have a meal. To the right of the bar it is nice and light with cushions on some of the benches. Meal (Steak and Ale pie) arrived quickly and was well presented.

Stopped for lunch here after a beautiful walk. The food was exceptionally good - beautifully presented, really high quality and very good value. And (important because we had walked a long way) good sized portions!

The pub was welcoming, the food was great and the owner even dropped us off back at our campsite nearby when we found ourselves slightly stranded with no hope of a cab. Thank you sir!

Zipped in over Christmas, very friendly welcome as usual and roaring log fire. Nice seating area and snug surrounds. Food menu looked very good, have eaten before and certainly this won't disappoint. A couple of local brews, like Bath Gem Ale.
