I have to say i was positively amazed by the exceptional dishes and the low prices. To be honest with you i thought i would find an overpriced Greek restaurant with average food... I was lucky enough to taste the new menu so i took almost half of the plates just to try them. I totally recommend it. Excellent work... More

I was in Athens for two weeks holiday and we visited the Ergon several times for lunches and dinner. The staff were friendly, spoke English and were very welcoming. The food on offer was all sourced from Greece and there was an excellent choice of different dishes on the menu for all tastes in our family party. Dishes when they... More

All dishes were prepared with top quality ingredients. Limited menu of tasteful food. Everything we ordered had its own exceptional way of cooking and serving. Very nice atmosphere, but yet a little crowded and noisy spot. I strongly recommend it!

I had been hearing good things about Ergon for a while before I managed to finally eat there. And yes....it is as good as they say. Fabulous Greek cuisine, each dish has an interesting and unexpected twist. It is best to go with a group so that you get the chances to order and taste more dishes. The decor is... More

All dishes served at this restaurant are prepared with ingredients from different parts of Greece. Although the restaurant is set in a very nice casual ambient with friendly stuff, the place is a bit noisy and I think this is due to the low ceiling. We ordered the gruyere from Naxos, the grilled sausages, the freshly cut fries and the... More

the problem with all those new greek chefs is that they become victims of publicity and marketing…they become celebrities without a robust gastronomic background…without having worked years in famous restaurants…and suddenly they open a trendy place to make money…maybe the have honest purposes….but the result is not enough….the pasta we had was without salt and the taste indifferent, the steak... this time I did not order pasta: once is enough, I did not need another overcooked pasta dish, an insult to Italian food. but the food is generally an insult to the customers, they must doubt about their intelligence: everything is prepared hours before and reheated. tasteless indifferent food from salads to first dishes to mains(not reheated but tasteless). First time eating there two days ago and really liked it. Fresh and minimal deco, friendly staff, really tasty dishes based on the greek cuisine but executed with a modern twist, and all ingredients come from local greek producers (no Coca Cola, only the greek EΨΑ equivalent!). What else to ask for? Keep in mind:side-dish portions are "meze"-like (i.e. not... More
