Four of us travelled to Downham which incidentally is a very picturesque village in the heart of the countryside. We decided to try the ‘while you wait’ dishes and had the haddock gougons (you get three), the sausage roll and some olives. These were ample...More

The first three dishes we ordered were not available. This was the middle of the afternoon, so what they were going to serve in the evening I do not know. When we eventually were served the food was very disappointing.
