Went for first time for dinner. It was a Sunday evening and I had a choice of 3 mains. I chose the A'Kotee burger and my wife the Daube de boeuf. Both were exceptional. The flavour of the burger was really great and I will go for it again. Finished with an excellent Lemon tart

Varied menu with special dishes, from our experience they were extremely well prepared and tasty. The restaurant is the hub of the village, it is a nice walk for a casual drink either inside or for sitting on the decking, from surrounding areas. Owners extremely helpful.

Friends who live nearby took us to this lovely, friendly restaurant. I had calamares as a starter, which was cooked to perfection. The pork fricasee, with kidneys and liver, was delicious. Steaks with peppercorn sauce were enjoyed by two of our party and beef stew by the fourth. We all enjoyed our meals and, although full, we all managed to... More

We were on holiday in the region and came across A'Kotee quite by chance, Marieanne is so friendly, the food is really good, not a huge menu but certainly very tasty we were there on three occasions in a week 2 lunches and an evening meal. A great position so relaxing a joy

A lovely surprise for a light lunch. Super friendly and lovely quiet setting, simple menu but just right for a steak and vin rouge. Kid friendly too, thoroughly recommend. We shall be back.

My family and I stay in Cailhau every year and A'kotee is our main source of food during that time. The menu is small but everything is cooked perfectly and there is always a special of the day such as Jambalaya, Coq au Vin, Spanish meatballs, etc, which is always incredibly tasty. The owners are really lovely and laid back,... More

Tasty and satisfying home cooked plat de jour was a nice change from regular hotel menus. Marieanne and partner were very accommodating and fitted us in on several days when we didn't make a reservation although as they have limited capacity that would always be a good idea.

Ate lunch here twice in June 2015. Top marks for the calamari, croque monsieur and frites. Best chicken nuggets I've tasted. Outside tables + a child friendly corner inside. Very friendly. Good value for money.

We were staying in a nearby village so this was very handy. A lovely bistro, with a choice of only 2 main dishes but the food was delicious. We were given an amuse bouche courtesy of the chef and we both had the homemade soup, followed by mains of Spanish meatballs and pasta with smoked salmon and as asparagus. Good... More
