First thing you will notice as you enter the area is the aroma - like boiled dishwater. The lobster is cold and tasteless., as is 'the catch of the day' (whatever it was). And the price of $120 is outrageous given the quality of the fare. To add insult to injury, a 15% gratuity is added to the bill. This... More

i wrote a review a few years back that was titled "pricey but worth it". at that time, the price was $90 a person which was certainly in the pricey range. it's now $120 per person plus a mandatory gratuity. if you have a drink or a glass of wine, it's going to be over $300 for a couple. there... I love any seafood so I loved it here. All you can eat lobsters, no need to say more. I ate enough lobsters for a month.

First, beware the food! Having decided to start with 3 oysters, both my partner and I found the first to be spoiled and made the poor choice to try a second -- also warm, pasty and rancid. A sampling of the other food resulted in recognizing that the best of what was there was the undressed Caesar salad -- the... More

We attended the Clambake while recently here with my parents. The prime rib was very good, the lobster was good, but a little tough, the crab was good. The choices in the buffet were excellent and there were multiple desert options as well as bread, appetizers etc. the appetizers included shrimp, raw oysters and Ono Sashimi. The price is a... More

The clam bake had mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a try. You need to have a hefty appetite to get your money’s worth. The lobster and the prime rib were, but nothing special. The shrimp was outstanding. However, the oysters were terrible. They had a very fishy smell that radiated around the serving area. It was a... More

well this was the biggest rip off ive had since I bought a set of encyclopedias in 1979 ! The food is marginal at best and frankly ive had better seafood buffet in Brooks Alberta. Do not go here, its a complete joke, it cost me and my wife 325 $ for a poor quality buffet that youd expect to... More

We debated spending almost $100/person for a clambake, but heard great things about it. I have to say that being lobster and oyster lovers, we were in heaven. We limited our dinner to those two options only. The oysters were from Seattle and they were huge and flavorful, with a distinct taste that we are not used to in the... More

The clambake has been part of every trip to the big island. We used to enjoy the seafood buffet, but over the past two years, the quality of the food and service has declined to the point that I cannot in good conscience recommend it. Yes, there is all you can eat lobster (overcooked and chewy), and prime rib (1/4"... More
