Visited today for lunch - first time we had been there. Staff were very informative and enthusiastic about menu. Sussex Charmer cheese, macaroni and salad - delicious, and excellently presented. Coffee was good too, as was the service. Will certainly visit again.

Good cheese and friendly service. Doggies permitted which is a bonus. I enjoyed cheese on toast with red onion, the mrs enjoyed a ploughman’s and the dog loved the scraps.

Visited the milk churn with a client, we had a coffee (very nice) and cheese on toast which was delicious , staff are very friendly, it’s a very cosy place to visit in the winter and plenty of outside seating in the summer.

A friend recommended this venue for coffee. Only a little way off the main road to find this little gem of a cafe. Open veranda seating available outdoors or tables inside. One of the best chocolate brownies I have tasted!
