That sounds so pompous doesn't it - "spoilt by poor wine service"... Let me explain. Location is fabulous, at a height overlooking the vineyards looking towards Bergerac. Food was amazing. We went for one of the tasting menus. And we thought it would be fun...More

Great cuisine with attentive service in a lovely setting if you can eat on the balcony with the panoramic view over Montbazilac. We went there to celebrate our silver anniversary and we were not disappointed. The deserts were expertly executed as you can see in...More

La Tour des Vents was everything we'd heard from others -- wonderful hilltop location looking out over a wide valley and the medieval town of Bergerac in the setting sun, attentive service, and a dazzling array of tasty innovations that delighted us for two hours....More

I love this place. The food is amazing and the service is now fantastic - friendly and informative. Highlights of this visit were the local caviar (from a sturgeon farm a few miles away) and the incredibly beautiful desserts.
