I needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights B&B, this was close to where I needed to be, at the last minute I had to extend my stay, booked online for the extra night, no problem. Reception made sure I kept my room so I...didn't have to move. My room was a decent size, with all amenities I needed including a desk for my computer, the bathroom & shower area were large too, clean & modern. My breakfasts were cooked for me (as apposed to buffet) & tasted fresh, nothing was too much trouble & the staff were all very helpful & friendly. I ate in the restaurant on 2 nights and ate well, good portions & fresh cooked food.More

I would like to express how brilliant the staff at the White Horse were on Friday 20th October during the storm and its aftermath. Although I was unable to get accommodation due to road closure the staff went over and above looking after everyone who...was there allowing people to stay with their cars in the car park. Providing food and drinks. You were brilliant. Thank you so much.More

I cannot rate this place and it's brilliant staff highly enough. We have been here a few times in our motorhome as a stopover but last night (20/10/23 Floods!) they went absolutely above and beyond for one of our drivers who was stranded in Suffolk...because of the floods, as well as many other guests, despite having a power cut. The staff could not have done more for these customers. Allowing them to have tabs and just taking a phone number because of the power cuts, and offering a seat indoors overnight for those that only had their cars/vans to sleep in. In addition to that, I can confirm the food is outstanding, both dinner and breakfast and the staff all polite, friendly and professional. Well done!More

Stayed 2 nights b & b plus evening dinner. This hotel epitomises perfection from star to finish - professional staff where nothing too much trouble to 5* food dinner and breakfast ! Again 5 * for cleanliness and a lovely chalet room with all facilities.... Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere as always. Lovely sunset over the shepherd’s huts as we left too.

We just had a family meal for my sons upcoming 21st Birthday! I cannot fault anything, the food was amazing and Peter was excellent, so friendly and efficient! We have been there a few times and thank you for everything, we will be back and...hopefully stay in a Shepherds Hut too.More

Drive past this pub a lot and decided it was about time we popped in too sample the place and the food. It was delightful and also found out that they have lovely looking shepherds huts that you can have a break away in and...we will definitely be going back to sample a weekend in 1 of these. An absolute Gem of a place. I stayed for 23 nights whilst working in Stowamarket over the weekend. I was warmly greeted when checking in and shown to my room. My room was a really good size and had air con, ideal during the warm...weather in September. The beer garden area was really spacious and clean. The evening meals and breakfast were fantastic value for money. All the staff I met were helpful, courteous and polite, nothing was too much trouble for them.More

It’s a clean & wonderful restaurant, brilliant atmosphere, beautiful decor, and fantastic service. Food quality is „good“ BUT menu hasn’t changed for years! It’s boring and we (regrettably) won’t need to come back as there are other nearby places who introduce new dishes and offer...daily specials. Shame this place got stuck in time with scratched records. Please do something innovative and entice your loyal customers to return.More

We were staying at The White Horse in preparation for attending a wedding the following day. Pleasant visit with plenty of space in and outside the building. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The food we chose was tasty and well presented and they were happy...substitute some peas for salad.More
