Having called in advance, we arrived for dinner on a midweek evening, 3 adults and 3 children. The smell of stale beer that greeted us when we walked in was dreadful. There was no way that we could sit and eat in there.

Poor service and ignored by barman. Won't go there again!!!! Old and tired. Don't recommend at all. Tired and not at all welcoming. Don't go there.More

We took the dogs and they're made very welcome. Great beer, great food. Friendly locals. Some reviews mention the miserable barman. He was fine. I don't think he's miserable, I would suggest that he doesn't suffer fools gladly. He was chatty, polite and quite funny...More

Nothing fancy just well cooked pub grub. Friendly atmosphere, only small so need to book at busy times.

Stayed at a camp site (manor farm), after a good bracing walk along the beach we headed for the fishing boat. Great old pub, good beer and good pub grub.friendly atmosphere and Saturday is live music. dog friendly.

What a delight. A quaint little pub,dog friendly,(an absolute must for us),good ale and magnificent food at great prices. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend. We will be going there again before the end of our holiday.

Really good food at reasonable cost, the only thing was i asked for jacket or new potatos in stead of chips and was told they are not on the menu, but we will eat thre again

It\s ok but in my opinion a bit expensive for what it is. Having said that plenty of people eat there but as I said in my review its mainly a pub with excellent ales and very cheap to boot !!

Fishing boat has a good selection on the menu as well as having specials on the board. Usual pub grub, steaks, lasagna,shepherds pie,liver and bacon, salads, all meat used is from the local butcher. Try the faggot's they are... More
