Visited here at a somewhat delayed Valentine. We ordered the long fried pork neck. I must say this is probably one of the best meals I have ever eaten in Haugesund. The meat was really tender and juicy. The garnish was composed of potato puree and tasty vegetables. The dish was topped with a delightful peppersauce. Both of us were... More

Very tasty food that was well served - all in nice ambience of maritime related decor. It is one of the restaurants at Haugesund's quay - main informal/fine dining area.

A nice place for friends and groups to meet over a nice dinner and a few drinks. Decent a la carte menu, a good selection of beers and very polite and serviceminded staff! The food could perhaps be presented a bit more delicately, not just a bunch of fried chips covering 3/4 of the plate (!), but it has nice... More

Nice atmosphere at Brasserie Brakstad by the pier. In spite of a very busy evening with Companies having X-mas dinner, the service was top! The spicy deer was tender and tasty - I can recommend it!

I visited this place for relaxing with a couple of beers. I appears to be nice place. They also serve food which I did not have so I have no comment on the food. One thing I noticed was that one women was sitting inside smoking on her electronic cigarette without being adressed by the staff. I thought all smoking,... More

Lovely evening dinner with colleague on a cold autumn evening. Friendly staff, came along without reservation but were welcome anyway. Warm and friendly atmosphere, good food and excellent wine.

This place was right by the river the, and the atmosphere where great. They had a good selection of beef and fish dishes. Staff was serviceminded but a bit slow, could be because the restaurant was packed.

Had dinner here with a friend, lots of fellow diners and a nice ambiance. The starters were excellent, would recommend the fish soup or the tempura. Both had mussels for main, very nice. Fantastic cappuccinos. The only negative I can think of is the speed of the service, the food came too fast and there was no time to breathe... More
