Possibly the worst coffee in England. A 1970s local cafe for local people. Stewed 1970s style filter coffee or some wartime type instant. Reminded me of the old Manila airport, without the smiles.

My friend and I were out for the afternoon doing some sight seeing, and he suggested a break. We stopped in for a cup of tea, The Cliff Top is a small place with a huge view, it has some tables set up overlooking the water, it is absolutely beautiful, great place to unwind. Highly recommend if you are in... More

The location can't be beaten, and the huge breakfast is freshly cooked to order. I can't believe that someone has said it is let down by the staff. They are all so friendly and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble for them. We have breakfast, here often, both as a couple and with family and friends, and have never... More

You won't get a better breakfast with a view anywhere else! The food is excellent, not like a greasy spoon breakfast, both traditional and quality. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. The only thing is that it is a bit pricey, but it wouldn't stop me recommending it highly!

A perfect place to stop for a drink, snack or ice cream on a sunny day. Amazing views of the White Cliffs, channel and shipping. A perfect stop on a walk from Dover to Folkestone or vice versa

Could be the perfect little cafe with the most beautiful of views, but let down rather tragically by the staff : abrupt, rather surly, and really quite unwelcoming. It should be a crime to waste such a location with management and staff such as this. And it's expensive! Try cracking a smile, guys..

This place is lovely it can't be seen from the road there is a car park and from there some steps a little steep but ok there is also a path down to the cafe for wheelchairs and buggies. The cafe is perched just below street level and has an enclosed fenced outside eating area, the cafe albeit small has... More

Clifftop Café Capel Le Ferne Date of visit: 25 August 2016 A café perched on the edge of the cliff at Capel Le Ferne with a fantastic view of the Channel; a perfect place to have refreshments and spent a few hours watching the world go by. We were walking along the North Downs Way (Saxon Shore Way) and the... More
