Both the restaurant and the bakery is top notch homemade food and lovely atmosphere! You get local dishes all year trough and also fresh made cakes and sandwiches in the bakery.

We ate here on a Tuesday. The shrimp salad was quite expensive in my opinion. Muffins were delicious. Cappuccino had an odd taste. There was a lot of smoke from the fireplace, but the staff didn't seem to care!

We just dropped by for coffee and waffles. The place offers a nice rest after shopping at Hadelands Glassverk. This is cafeteria style and you pick out what you want and pay for it at the end of the line. Nothing wrong with that as...More

First of all this is a wonderful outing especially on Sundays when many places in Norway is closed. Delicious local foods, cappocinos, & traditional norwegian cakes. The artisan breads are baked on the premises. I'd take foreign visitors here for sure.

Freshly baked, in tune with the surroundings, fairly good coffee and pleasant staff. The atmosphere works. Possibly a bit pricey, but one would expect that, really, at a tourist spot like this. All in all a place to recommend and a nice area to relax...More

Bread, buns, cakes and ice cream is good here. I wish the coffee was more exciting, and that they did a salad. I also miss the old rustic loaves. It's also usually pretty full.

Be seated outside or inside. Our favorite was the focaccia. Charming place for coffee and bakery. Notice the original timber walls! .
