Fabulous evening as ever for my birthday with family and friends. Food was amazing, great atmosphere, and Paolo and his team were fantastic and made it an extra special night.

Been meaning to try this restaurant for years and finally decided it was time. So glad we did. The food was absolutely excellent, and the service friendly and attentive, without ever feeling rushed. It’s nice to see some restaurants still bother using tablecloths as well,...which adds a real feeling of quality. We will definitely be back soon.More

We booked a table at short notice (but it was early evening) and we certainly did not regret our off the cuff booking. We had an absolutely lovely meal and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return next time we...are back in the area. As with all treasured establishments, I crossed everything in the hope that Romanos wouldn't be damaged by the Pandemic. Now, while things are still no more than the 'new' normal, it was a true delight to be at Romanos again. The old school charm is...still there. Relaxed, but efficient. Staff that know their role and their products. Attentive yet not overbearing. Italian and International cuisines central. Great food. I honestly don't know what the fanfare is. Cheapest cuts of meat , massively overpriced with kid sized portions in a cold room with poor service. I agree the cooking is good but I shouldn't walk out the door feeling still hungry, despite only having...the main course with a side dish of chips. Tailor made for the local (more money than sense brigade). Went home and ordered a takeaway.More

Romano's is simply our favourite restaurant; we don't live locally so it's a real treat whenever we're in Cleadon. The food is incredibly good - reliably so - we've NEVER not had a faultless meal. Service is great, friendly but always professional. The restaurant itself,...with crisp white linen, sparkling silverware and luxurious but contemporary decor, is a delight. Looking forward to our next visit in August.More

We love Bistro Romano for special events and occasional impromptu posh treats. So glad to see most of the same staff there after recent pandemic closures. Good variety of tasty choices, and leaving room for the excellent desserts is a must. Hoping for another visit...very soon.More

Never disappoints! Food quality is always 10/10 along with service. One of those few gems :) Very helpful when trying to accommodate fussy eaters (my kids!) and great wine selection to choose from Highly recommend
