We came here last weekend for a meal, a warm cozy atmosphere. The menu has plenty of choice and the food was fantastic. Service was spot on. Would definitely return again.

The White Bear is a real find. This was our first visit here. We had a really warm welcome. The menu and specials were fully explained and whilst we sat in the bar area with our drinks our order was taken. We had the lamb kleftika and the salmon and monkfish. The surroundings are so lovely and quaint but mind... More

This pub looks very ordinary from the outside but the inside is homely and the food is fresh, well cooked, tasty and served hot. Strangely the menu is on a blackboard which isn't obvious when you first walk in. You need to book and it's better to be seated in the bar area which is cosier and more atmospheric than... More

Once again an excellent meal, drinks and friendly service. Highly recommended. Nice choice of cask ales, on this occasion it was "Reinbeer" 3.7% to accompany the perfectly cooked rack of lamb.

Our family group of 8, went for Sunday lunch, to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday at The White Bear - somewhere we have been to many times before. The food was excellent (as usual) and without exception, everyone in our party enjoyed what they had - Pork belly x3, Rack of Lamb x2, Fish, Turkey & 1 other. Having requested... More
