The service is relaxed and attentive. Make sure to book a table well ahead, as there are around 10 tables and local seem to respect the place as well (meaning it maybe fully booked even on off-season). Loved the simple, but professional presentation of meat/fish....Portions bigger than on average. The menu changes daily, but is rich from the variety. Liked the opportunity to order a half a bottle wines. The core flavors were amazing and mixed with ingredients that matched perfectly from structure to taste. A must visit restaurant that may surprise more than some of the Michelin rated ones.More

Lovely food from start to end, friendly service included. Not cheap but compared to equally priced restaurants in St-Julian’s you have real value for your money here! We definitely will visit this place again.

This small restaurant was amazing. The staff was very attentive. I had the Brie & onion appetizer that was simply melt in your mouth. The breadsticks were delish-so light & airy. I had the filet & hubby had the sirloin. Both were so tender. I...highly recommend. My hubby loved it !More

We tried Wigi’s kitchen because it was highly rated and near our hotel (Marriott). We had a table for four, the welcome was warm and genuine. It is a small intimate restaurant with a lovely ambiance. The menu is very good with a good choice...of dishes. We all enjoyed the food and wine. I would go again.More

Visited on the 9th of April...and again on the 13th I had found this place while looking at where to eat near Sliema, and phoned them to book in before we flew out to Malta. I thought it was going to be good, but I...wasn't prepared for it to be one of the best meals of my life, and so good that after dessert we asked to get booked in again. The food here is ridiculously good, and very very reasonable at the price point. We didn't feel it was pretentious at all, and the staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly during both of our visits. The menu consists of whatever is fresh and available for that day. In the few days between our visits, several of the starters had changed and a couple of the mains as well. I think that's amazing that they are able to do that and can provide guests with a new experience every time they visit. For meal 1, we had the beef tartin and fried courgette flowers (with a tomato jam and olive puree) to start and then the veal cheeks and veal chop for mains. Everything was cooked to perfection, the courgette flowers were amazing - I shared some with my girlfriend and she said she'd never eaten something before where you get hit with about 4 waves of different flavours coming through. Meal 2, beef tartin starters for both of us, and then duck and the veal chop - The veal chop was my favourite, and I was happy to go for it again. It was cooked to perfection with a whisky sauce and it was just delicious. Dessert both times we had the canolli with sweet ricotta and pistachio. We would recommend Wigi's to anyone looking for a lovely meal, because honestly there is nothing we could fault it on, it was perfect. Thank youMore

Absolutely marvellous we had beautiful steaks and veal, the whiskey sauce was to die for and the dessert of chocolate torte ( flourless) was excellent. Staff are very knowledgeable and wine list was great. Definitely going back.
