I wanted to treat my partner and kids to pizza as we hadn't been out in a long time so I suggested Margo's as I'd heard about it often on the radio. To say we were unimpressed was an understatement. The menu was unreadable and we didnt know what anything was, even though it was in English. The waitress had... More

Dear Yanika, Thank you for your review and your comments about our staff. I am sorry that you could not read the menu. There is a reason for it being like that:what we do is unique and very special. So to explain to people that we only use buffalo mozzarella, that we use San Marzano, that we use sourdough, a... More

If you are visiting be prepared to spend the first 20 minutes reading the menu, half a chapter for every pizza! It is very expensive and nothing to shout about, definitely not the best pizza they claim they do. We also had this '9.5 out of 10' cherry cheesecake for dessert, it comes in a small jar which promptly reminded... More

Dear Susan B., Thank you so much about the response. Alas we have to blow our own trumpet rather thsn anyone else's. We try harder next time: we will make the desserts shallower, the spoons longer, the story behing each pizza summerised in the title and make your experience special. And, if you bring your trumpet with you, one of... More

I was guest in this restaurant during a working journey in Malta. All the dishes are homemade and fresh, I really appreciate eating the specialties. The service is good and faster. They only accept cash, and this is not good!

Entered from a side street, up a spiral staircase, past the chef cooking pizza to the restaurant. Some tables for two were on a little balcony which overlooked the main street. Margo's only serve pizza. Good choice menu explains every one of them in detail. Not over faced either and no-one needed to take away half a pizza because it... More

It had been a while since our last Margo's pizza, our past visits to both Mistra and Valletta were always great ... service and of course a great pizza /food. Which is exactly why when we were enjoying a stroll through Spinola there was no hesitation as to where we'd be heading when our daughter asked for pizza. The place... More

First of all the Restaurant is in the 2nd floor without any seaview. I can say to sit down in the second floor is quite comfortable. The Start seems good. Salat frech and an excellent taste. Sparkling water good but from Wales. Strange for an authentic Neapolitan Restaurant. However the white wine by Glas ,was a generic one from Chile.... More

Went here around 9 pm. When one couple left, I was the only one in the restaurant. The entrance to the restaurant is little bit weird as there is just a door and steps up. The pizza I ordered was pretty good. The service was very good from the nice waitress who knew the menu pretty well.

Had a Calzone which was very good but the panacotta was absolutely sublime, probably the best I've ever had. Great value as well.

Dear AAID, Thank you so much for your kind review and wonderful heart warming comments. Calzone is not my favourite pizza, but it does look good. I was chatting with some customers this week about the panna cotta, our panna cotta to be precise. I was saying how can someone so simple be misinterpreted by so many restaurants? You have... More

A few month ago I moved for business from germany to malta. Unfortunately, it is not easy to find a good restaurant with moderate prices in Malta. The Margo's is an exception. The prices are ok, the service and the whole team are very friendly and the food is adventurous but good. A bit complicated is the menu at Margo's.... More

Description
Perfection. It is a strong, subjective, controversial and hard-to-define concept. But we are driven by that Holy Grail - to create the perfect pizza. Sometimes we get it right. No. Most times we get it right. Every single detail is taken care of. Leave nothing to chance. Every single pizza has to be a work of art. Every single pizza has to be a masterpiece. Every single pizza has to be as if it was your last pizza while on death row.
