Great looking pub but despite this the food was substandard. My wife had fish and it was a bit over cooked. The staff forgot about our main as well but to be fair it was reasonably busy. Has lots of potential but needs to up...More

Lovely setting, the barn is really nicely done with an authentic feel. The service was average, prompt but not particularly friendly or welcoming. The food is also average in my view, really nothing special. Not bad, but doesn't look or taste like it's made in...More

Despite the opening of the Lexicon this remains our favourite pub for dinner. The Buffalo Wings are a total crowd pleaser, but the Whitebait makes a very decent alternative starter. The Steak and Tanglefoot Pie is perfect for an autumn or winters evening. Add in...More

This pub is always packed particularly throughout the warmer weather. There is plenty of outdoor seating with a children's play area ideal for families. Would be great if those with children sat neare the play area so that other customers weren't subjected to 4 year...More

Love the food and the establishment, although it is situated right off the main road. The service was pretty awful, staff are miserable and down right rude. But that didn’t get in the way of us having a great time! Roast lamb and baked Camembert...More
