Very friendly staff. Food was very good, hot and quick service. Little bit expensive for popadoms but good overall. Always asking if we were ok.

Poor, runny,tasteless, tough lamb, in chefs special? Had thicker tastier lentil soup than the tarka dhal Awful only had one as bad ever.

We have had several very good take always from here, so decided to eat in the restaurant, which was excellent. Really tasty food piping hot & generous dishes. The guys there are really friendly too!

Ordered a takeaway from here. Lamb samosas (not bad, although they have almost as much potato in them as meat), Chicken Bhuna (chicken was tough and chewy, the curry was bland), Murgh Keema Khazana (lamb mince very oily, chicken again was tough), garlic chilli naan...(nice, the chillies were fresh and actually had good bite to them), pilau rice (good, separate rice with jeera). Had read good things about Shahi and was considering bringing my mother here for Mother's Day next Sunday - I definitely won't now.More

We had a takeaway from the Shahi, this was the first time using the restaurant, after reading all of the reviews. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing! This will be our go to restaurant in the future, looking forward to a sit down...dinner soon!More

We happened on this place by accident as it was the only place to get a curry at 4.30, and everything was amazing, the food was well cooked and not greasy, great greasy allowing you to taste the flavours and the onion bhajis are the...best I’ve ever had, will 100% be making this restaurant our go to curry house.More

Lovely evening in the restaurant! Staff really friendly and even bought me my own personal heater when I got chilly! Food was lovely and staff spent the time explaining dishes! Can not fault them!

Took my family of four here for my sons 31st birthday and it wasn’t great. They are very friendly and fast with service however food was a let down. Everyone’s chicken in there dishes were tough and really dry and hard to chew. I also...had a vegetable curry and it had the strangest taste and I eat all sorts of curry’s in curry houses in the U.K so I left it. The keema Nan had a tiny piece of meat you ever did see so really it was a plain naan. My wife’s Korma had no flavour and rice was not pilau rice more like boiled rice. I didn’t want to complain as it was my son’s birthday and I didn’t was to embarrass him.More

Had family meal last night 7th January 2023 at the Shahi was very enjoyable the restaurant serves lovely food staff are so friendly, pleasant and helpful I would definitely go back again great evening great food thank you Shahi staff. Peter

A really friendly place great service very helpful and polite. Food was amazing no split sauces all freshly made no complaints at all and would visit again 100% recommend this restaurant 👍👌.
